Lamba Omicron's Unique Service Projects

AUTISM RUN

The Run is our chapter's annual fundraiser for the Autism Society of Pittsburgh. Every fall semester, the brothers of Lambda Omicron run 78 miles relay style from Pittsburgh, PA to Mountaineer Field in Morgantown, WV. In Fall 2013, our brothers have raised over $4000. We also do a walk in the spring that will be held on April 13th.

KSC (Kids Science Carnival)

The Kids Science Carnival is a project held in the spring semesters and provides a learning experience to kids in the community. Several booths are set up with scientific experiments that allow hands on learning for the children. Previous booths have included paper mache volcanoes, coke & mentos and archaeological digs! The 2014 KSC is set for March 29th.

RELAY FOR LIFE

Every spring semester, Relay for Life comes to West Virginia University. Lambda Omicron participates every year in an effort to raise money for cancer research by playing games and selling food/objects on the WVU track from 6pm-6am. Each on-site fundraiser varies each year. The date for Relay for Life this year is April 4th, 2014.
